Randi Richardson's Awesome Artistic Cards

DON'T MISS THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY!

Randi Richardson will be coming to the shop to teach two classes for us. Her cards are absolutely beautiful! You will learn lots of new techniques and leave with skills you can use in your card making or scrapbooking in addition to 3 incredible cards from each class.

Here are the cards Randi will be teaching on Friday and Saturday, February 19 and 20 at 10:30 a.m.

Get Creative with Embossing Paste--If it's been a while since you've used your brass stencils, or you only use them to create dry embossed images, join us and stretch your imagination. Participants in this class will work on both fabric and paper to create paste embossed images that are glittered, leafed and custom colored. Please bring a palette knife, favorite small to medium brass stencils (optional), and your regular stamping suitcase.

On Friday and Saturday, February 19 and 20 at 1:30 p.m. she will be teaching these three cards.

Paper Applique--Paper applique is borrowed from quilters. But no sewing is required. And if you've wondered how to achieve light images on dark surfaces, join us to learn the secret. Remember to bring your favorite detail scissors along with the rest of your stamping suitcase.

Each class is $20 and must be prepaid. Call right away to reserve your spot for these awesome cards.

REMEMBER THE

SNOWY

CHALLENGE

Let's make good use of all this snow! I challenge you to take some pictures of the snow, with or without people in them and use them to make either a layout, card, or in some other creative way. Just bringing in the photos is not quite enough.
GET CREATIVE!
Let us post them in the store and on the blog and you will be entered in a drawing for your choice of $25 worth of the new product we are bringing in from CHA! How is that for something to do on a snowy weekend?

BE SURE YOU ARE THE WINNER!
GET YOUR ENTRY IN BY 3 P.M. ON SATURDAY,
FEBRUARY 13, 2010!

DRAWING WILL BE HELD AT 4 P.M. ON FEBRUARY 13, 2010.

If you are reading this blog, please leave a comment so I will know you are out there.
It gets lonely writing without knowing there is an audience.
Let me know what you think of the blog.

Thanks so much,

Sharon
